About Us
I began my pet grooming career in 1985 at 16 years of age when I started my first job working at ‘Clippers’ in Burwood.
After discovering what was to be my passion, I opened my own grooming salon at 19 called ‘Black and White Poodle Parlour’. As you can see, the theme and high standards have remained with me over the years!
During my 30+ years in the industry, aside from having my own home-based grooming salon, I have also worked out of a number of local Veterinary Clinics in the area including Kerry Lay’s Rowville Vet Clinic, and her pet shop in Knoxfield, as well as the Boronia Vet Clinic. I am extremely grateful for the ongoing support I have received from these great local businesses over the years.
In 2010 I completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment which allowed me to become a teacher at Box Hill TAFE where I helped establish the grooming courses; Pet Grooming Short Courses for level 1, 2 & 3 as well as Certificate III in Pet Grooming.
In 2015, I settled into a purpose built Grooming Salon in Boronia (Victoria) where the look and feel reflects our extremely high standards. Your pet will be lavished with attention in a plush and relaxing Salon environment that is second to none, and where the name says it all - A Touch of Class Dog & Cat Grooming Salon
All of this luxury is designed to relax your pet while they are being pampered so that everyone - pet and owner - has a great and enjoyable experience. Don't let the look and feel fool you into thinking that a visit will cost the Earth though, as our pricing is well within reach of every animal lover. We only have high standards - not high prices.
Welcome to my Salon!
